The Health Benefits of Wild Salmon.

There is a growing body of scientific evidence that eating oily fish is particularly good for health. The principle factor is the presence of long chain Omega-3 fatty acids, docosahexanoic acid (DHA) and ecosapentanoic acid (EPA). These do not occur in any meaningful quantity in any non-marine source, and wild oily fish, particularly salmon, have been shown to be excellent sources of these vital nutrients.
